Pastel Overload

Top - New Look
Skirt - River Island
Socks - Primark
Shoes - Primark

Pastel colours have taken over the vast majority of the high street this summer and finally I gave in and went a bit pastel mad. This outfit is waaayyy more cutesy than I would ever usually wear so I attempted to redeem myself with some purpley-red Kate Moss lipstick, which I wanted to mention because its incredible and my new obsession. It's really long lasting for a fiver. This skirt was my first payday find and I love it! I've already got a black leather skirt which I have already featured on my blog, but this one is really summery and saves me looking a bit too 'biker chick'. It's really easy to wear but, as with all things leather, its SO HOT! It should probably come with a warning to avoid wearing it in direct sunlight because you will melt from the bum down, but it's a price worth paying. I'm thinking of doing a 'Look-Book' sort of post featuring this skirt because it's so versatile and obviously you don't have to wear all pastel colours with it. This top from New Look is a really flattering soft pink in a thicker fabric, I've worn it with my black ripped skinny jeans before to girly things up a bit. The only thing is, for this outfit, it could do with being a bit longer as I wanted to tuck it into the skirt but it creases up too much. I've developed a bit of a thing for socks and sandals too. I never really thought I could pull it off but with these metallic sandals from Primark I think it looks acceptable. Apologies for the immense lack of accessories in  these recent posts, I desperately need to buy so many more necklaces and bags; it's a mission for next month.

As previously mentioned, payday has been and gone and I'm now skint again but I went on a bit of a shopping spree and bought a few things from Topshop, Warehouse and Primark so I'll be featuring them soon! I got a few things for my room too, it's being redecorated now I'm moving back home from uni so I'll probably do a post on that when it's finished. Also me and my friend have booked a few nights away in Dublin soon so I'll be doing a post featuring that too.
