Never Ending Neon

This is just a quick Outfit of the Day type of post of my gorgeous Urban Outfitters flatforms so I can keep getting used to things.. and also test out my own camera that is usually only used for gigs and the occasional night out, so as you can imagine, its pretty battered. I've come to the conclusion it just doesn't cut it so I'm going to have to invest in an SRL or some better quality digital one... oh and also a tripod because I can't expect my boyfriend to have the day off work every time I want my picture taken.

The whole 'Neon' trend seems to re-emerges every summer and true to form it's certainly in full swing this year. To me, it's a risky thing to wear because there can be a fine line between 'in style' Neon and CHAV, so I tend to keep to neon accessories to add a bit of colour to any outfit you can't really be bothered to think about. In that sense, these incredible Urban Outfitters flatforms are my babies. Although, they were a bit pricey at £55 I really think they're the perfect summer investment, the lime greeny/yellow colour just makes every outfit 'pop' and they're really easy to clash with most colours so you can wear them with pretty much everything. The studs on the on the top also give them a really cool edge which I always want any of my outfits to have.

This time, I paired the shoes with these patterned trousers from Primark and a basic tee from Topshop; I wanted to keep the shoes as the main focus of the outfit, although I did add a splash of neon continuity up top with this Primark necklace.
