I thought I'd make my first official post a little introduction to me and what I hope this blog will be focused around; feedback from any of you would be greatly appreciated!
I'm Hannah Louise Davies, 20 from Nottingham but I'm currently a third year History student at the University of Leeds.
My blog name loubellelou stems from my ever original middle name 'Louise' and should really be credited to my mum who coined it as my nickname when I was a primary school kid. Well actually she called me louloubell, but for the purposes of my blog and header design I thought I'd mix it up a bit.
I wanted to create this blog to broadcast my thoughts on the latest fashion trends and show how I interpret the high fashion, catwalk outfits and the heartbreakingly expensive looks of 'Vogue' by using high-street stores. I'm thinking of making a monthly feature entitled 'From Vogue to Your Wardrobe' where I'll peruse the fashion mags and find gorgeous steals that are similar. I also wanted this blog to help me on my way toward becoming a Fashion Buyer by keeping me on my toes and up to date with the latest looks and, hopefully, show any prospective employer I'm capable of analysing trends and pulling together outfits for all occasions. I might also add in some beauty posts occasionally if I've recently bought something I think everyone has to know about, but I won't pretend to be any kind of expert on those sorts of things.
It might take me a little while to get used to this site so bear with me while I tweak a few things, but I hope this blog will make a great platform for feedback and I can't wait to here some thoughts on any 'Outfit of the Day' posts I do and what you think of the feature 'From Vogue to Your Wardrobe'.
