First of all, I've been so so terrible at this blogging thing. It's been a full year since I did anything because third year at university took over my whole life and any free time I had was spent either rocking in a corner or sleeping. I have full respect for all those bloggers that do manage to keep going because to me it seemed impossible. But I've finished now and determined to make a go of this. I've got a new camera that makes any of the old photos look ridiculously poor so I apologise for that. There's also a new logo and layout which I love.
Today my fellow historian, Hannah, and I went for a wander around Newstead Abbey because I was appalled I'd never been and it's ten minutes from house. It blew my mind; it the cutest place! Like its own little mirco-universe of amazing flowers, ducks, waterfalls and never-ending gardens and fields that seem so out of place for where it is. It's a perfect backdrop for pictures so I thought I'd shoot an Outfit of the Day. I love this Misguided swing top/dress, it's so summery and easy to wear. I teamed it with my disco pants because I didn't feel quite brave enough to bear leg it... and it was too windy. My Office boots are a personal fave of mine and as a result they're pretty battered through months of wear so some of the studs are missing but I still love them and they add the perfect edge to any outfit.
I'm just going to see what happens with this blog really; I'll just post things I'd want to read about. Mainly OOTDs or new things I've bought, which will hopefully be lots when I get paid. I'll be posting every other day at least so please follow me on Bloglovin', Twitter, Instagram and I'll return the favour.
